The Search Process
We evaluated 9 water fountains across 4 categories: ceramic, stainless steel, BPA-free plastic, and hybrid designs. Our criteria were strict: under 25dB operating noise, minimum 2L capacity, dishwasher-safe components, and USB power (no bulky adapters).
Five were eliminated on noise alone — one sounded like a small aquarium pump. Two more had reservoirs too small for multi-cat homes.
